Abstract

This research highlights the need for climate change adaptation in Indonesia, a country highly vulnerable to climate change impacts that threaten national food security. This research aims to explore published global studies' findings and identify adaptive solutions that can be implemented in Indonesia. This research method uses bibliometric analysis with the Scopus database as the primary data source. The findings of this study show a significant increase since the early 2000s, dominated by countries such as the United States, India, the United Kingdom, Australia, and China. However, there is an imbalance in the representation of research from other countries, including Indonesia, which faces similar challenges but still needs to be fully represented in the global academic literature. These findings indicate the need for further research in climate change mitigation, livelihoods, nutrition, and resilience. The implications of these findings also highlight the importance of Indonesia increasing carbon absorption capacity, adaptation to climate change, and food system resilience for national sustainability. Integrating these findings into local policies can strengthen adaptive food systems and ensure people's access to safe food in the future, with the support of cross-sector collaboration and green technology.
